You will serve as a PROCUREMENT AND TRAVEL TECHNICIAN in the RESOURCES MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE of CTR FOR AVIATION TECHNL TRNG.

Duties
You will prepare written inquiries, papers, and reports to present facts.
You will identify infractions made by purchase card holders in order to recommend corrective action.
You will review Purchase Card data concepts or techniques to resolve complicated management issues.
You will oversee the debt management module for collection of defense travel system (DTS) debt.
You will Advise staff on travel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Joint Travel Regulations
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
GS-07
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing oral and written communication to approve travel vouchers, solve budget issues, and produce reports; 2) Reviewing travel documents to validate accuracy, completeness, and compliance in accordance with travel guidance; and 3) Reviewing all purchase card documentation and verifying that cardholder transactions are approved for payment in accordance with government rules and regulations.
GS-06
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing oral and written communication to solve problems, and assist customers on purchase card programs; 2) Building travel profiles in the Defense Travel System (DTS) for individual travelers and assisting in the reservation and vouchering process; and 3)Purchasing supplies utilizing a government credit card ensuring transactions are proper and legal in accordance with government rules and regulations.
