About the Position: Incumbent serves as the principal staff advisor to the District Commander, Deputy Commander, and district staff principles on matters relating to civilian workforce management. *This term appointment may not be extended past 4 years* *Current Army Employees*: Permanent employees who accept time-limited appointments will not have placement rights to the previously held permanent position at the end of the time-limited appointment.

Duties

Advises District personnel on a variety of substantive procedural and policy matters on a broad range of civilian workforce management functions. Reviews organizational requirements and/or conducts studies relating to such factors as turnover, mission, and technology to identify staffing trends, anticipated vacancies etc. Serves as liaison between management and the servicing personnel office. Advises the Commander and staff on the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP) program. Manages the Awards program which includes performance, honorary, service and retirement awards.
