About the Position: Serve as a Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operator) at Fort Bliss. Fort Bliss is located in western Texas on the Rio Grande River and sits at the base of the Franklin Mountain Range.
Duties

Perform manual labor using hand tool and power equipment.
Operates lawn moves over steep and uneven ground.
Trim large branches and shrubs with gasoline powered chain saw.
Clean and maintain large rock desert landscaped areas.
Load and unload heave crates over 50 lbs, materials, supplies and other items to and from trucks.
Use dollies to move heave crates and supplies up and down up to three flights of stairs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a current state driver's license.
- Incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operator)~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common Laborer tasks including using a self-propelled or manual lawnmower, string trimmer, or edger. I can perform manual labor tasks such as cleaning, raking and watering lawns. PHYSICAL EFFORT - The work involves moderate physical effort in performing the assigned tasks. Work involves occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds (i.e., assigned equipment and other items.) Work also involves bending and stooping to move required items loading and unloading supplies / materials.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Performs work outdoors and indoors, exposed to all weather extremes. Continuous standing, walking, stooping, or lifting is required. Also exposed to the possibility of injury from mowers, edgers, trimmers, when moving tools, equipment, and heavy objects.
