This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as an IT PROJECT MANAGER (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION OF THE CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will develop plan, budget, schedule, and implement recommendations for Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) program. You will apply cybersecurity planning, strategy and policies to support organizational missions and initiatives. You will serves as the organizational Manager of the Cybersecurity Workforce Program (CSWF). You will develop new interpretations and procedures which extend existing procedures and may result in precedents for others to follow. You will apply knowledge of a wide range of IT technical methods, principles, and practices and skills in applying this knowledge. You will manage and identify education, training, certification, and qualification of Cybersecurity Workforce individuals and approve the work of others to ensure that the CSWF programs were completed in conformance with the program objectives. You will provide policy guidance to cyber management, staff, and users. You will establish and collect metrics to monitor and validate cyber workforce readiness.

  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials of 751-Cyber WF Developer and Manager AND 723-COMSEC Manager at the level Expert.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12)grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the Cybersecurity Workforce Program (CSWF), emphasizing compliance, policy development, and workforce readiness assessments to ensure effective planning, and management in support of the organization's cybersecurity program. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
