As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves as a Second Level Manager with one level of subordinate managerial officials in the Natl. Enterprise & Infrastructure Sys Engineer organization.

Duties

Position reports directly to a NASE Group Level Manager. Incumbent directs the technical and administrative activities of multiple sub-teams necessary to support National Airspace System (NAS) operational and developmental systems.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • May be required to serve a one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-K (GS/FG-15) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J (GS/FG-14) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience managing, directing, coordinating, and leading a team in the resolution of service-wide operational problems impacting system performance of the NAS.In addition to the above qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor (QRF). This means applicants who possess this factor are considered to be Well-Qualified.Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well-qualified candidates will demonstrate experience and applied knowledge in the Operational and Maintenance (O&M) NAS environment within their resume.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
