As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Incumbent will supervise a team of HR specialists and assistants in the Federal Aviation Administration Employee Benefits Operations Center (BOC).

Duties

Provides leadership and technical guidance in overseeing the day-to-day work of subordinate staffs of employees at the organizational level to include staff members located in regional offices throughout the U.S.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience should include:-Extensive knowledge of Human Resource's benefits programs, policies, procedures, and processes.-Experience providing technical assistance to lower-level staff members and assisting manager in assigning resources in accomplishing benefits program's activities-Experience managing workload for a team-Experience leading, coaching and mentoring a teamQualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement and must be clearly stated within your resume and application package.
