Duties
Serves as sales and account management executive.
Prospects for new clients through a variety of sources and sales leads utilizing the Internet, trade publications, competitive sources and trade shows.
Develops proposals and evaluation criteria, and negotiates sponsorship and advertising agreements.
Coordinates closely with local level counterparts and officials of other agencies or components to execute agreements.
Obtains legal counseling as necessary.
Acts as account manager for clients to ensure that benefits are executed, and terms of agreement are met.
Attends related board, committee and special event planning meetings.
Provides expert advice and assistance that includes training.
Makes presentations, writes and performs public relations duties.
Requirements

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Attend Team Member Orientation (TMO) within 30 days of employment.
- Must be available to work: days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must possess and maintain a current/valid driver's license.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Work experience that demonstrates proven ability and experience in sales, negotiations, account management, and client care.
2. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.
3. Have a working knowledge of the military and MWR community.
Best Qualified:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business, or recreation. (**transcripts must be submitted at time of application for consideration).
2. Two (2) years' experience in sales and account management.
3. One (1) year event planning and event execution experience.
