You will serve as a TRAINING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DIVISION (G-3) of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will be responsible for the planning, programming, budgeting, execution and management of the command's Civilian Workforce Development (CWD) and training programs.
You will establish annual goals, objectives and plans to ensure the execution of the civilian workforce professional development and training program is in compliance with current policies.
You will develop and implement training strategies and plans to integrate personnel into respective Community of Interest (COI) and to provide on-the-job training access across the full range of occupational series.
You will develop training budgets and provide subject matter expertise and support to the Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process and requirements.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: proficient in deciphering and evaluating regulations and guidelines, applying them to installation-specific issues to devise remedies and furnish senior executives with input; familiarity in overseeing the implementation of financial operations through government accounting platforms (such as Purchase Request Builder, Wide Area Workflow, and Defense Travel System); and familiarity with using Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) privileges.
