Duties
You will manage procedures and general business principles and practices related to the management of housing facilities.
You will apply principles, methodology, and techniques related to scheduling, coordinating, operation and efficient utilization of housing and facilities.
You will use software systems used to maintain occupancy history records that include property account information, furnishings inventory, inspections, and condition reports of unusual incidents.
You will brief various levels of officials, tenants, and contractors both orally and written on issues.
You will prepare reports and point papers that include information relative to data collection, analysis, and recommendations.
You will apply budget and funds management involving housing budget activities.
You will perform housing facility inspection procedures and maintenance requirements identifying deficiencies.
You will partner with individuals and groups to conduct check-in and termination inspections, mediate disputes, and negotiate the repair of maintenance deficiencies.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Managing housing contracts to include planning, monitoring and evaluating housing operations, maintenance, and operating cost; mediate housing disputes and agreements; advising families, staff, and personnel on housing concerns such as resolving complaints and disputes and advance housing information (e.g. housing conditions, rental costs, occupancy rates); and provide resource management such as maintaining data records and preparing correspondence for senior officials.
