Duties

You will develop family housing program management policies and procedures to achieve organizational objectives. You will respond to data calls, develop justifications, prepare briefings, or point papers in response to higher headquarters requirements. You will formulate proposals concerning funds, personnel, and materials to accomplish housing activities. You will coordinate housing projects by maintaining liaison with command officials. You will evaluate reports to determine improvements, replacements, and additional facility requirements for existing and future planning projects. You will interpret family housing policies to develop management directives and standards for application by subordinate personnel.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing onsite management, administration and technical oversight relative to Public Private Venture (PPV) property management functions and installation Family Housing Services; develop and implement short and long range plans, family housing policies, programs, procedures, financial management and field management; advising others (e.g. military members , PPV housing liaisons, military community groups, personnel and military commands etc.) on all matters relating to the management, operations, utilization, assigned housing assets, facilities and PPV units. Education

In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:

• I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or
• I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree or
• I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
