The purpose of this position is to carry out various administrative projects and assignments to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of OWCP administrative and program operations. Additionally, the incumbent serves as a central point of contact for information concerning OWCP administrative policies, procedures, and requirements.
This position is inside the bargaining unit.
Duties
For series 0301-GS 11
-Participates in the management of the Paperwork Reduction Calendar for tracking Information Collection Requests (ICR) and information collection and associated electronic and paper form reauthorization processes.
-Performs quarterly review of the DAO Administrative Procedure Manual, coordinates to space, paperwork reduction, etc. for review and concurrence, as necessary
.-Maintains agency internet and intranet websites; reviews content on the agency common web infrastructure used by all Program Offices to ensure information is current and coordinates with federal contract technical personnel in the Agency's divisions to ensure that all web content meets the Agency's requirements.
For series 0301-GS 9:
-Assists higher-graded specialists in gathering clear-cut information and tracking Information Collection Requests (ICR) as it pertains to the Paperwork Reduction Calendar.
-Reviews OWCP internet and intranet websites to ensure current information is available. Assists higher-graded specialists with updates, as needed.-Serves as the OWCP representative for the travel management system.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
- Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
Qualifications
You must meet the Basic Requirements listed in the Education Requirements section and the Specialized Experience to qualify for Program Support Specialist, as described below.
Specialized Experience:For the GS-11
Applicants for the GS-11 level must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level in the Federal Service.
Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience include:
-Experience overseeing a travel management system, assisting others create travel orders or vouchers in a system, obtain funding for employee travel, reviewing travel orders or vouchers for reimbursement for accuracy, and/or processing travel orders.
-Experience with safety and health processes and procedures, coordinating safety and health initiatives, or serving as a Safety and Health coordinator.
-Experience with collecting information under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA).
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeor3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degreeorLL.M., if related
OR
A combination of specialized experience and graduate education.
For the GS-9
Applicants for the GS-9 level must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal Service.
Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience include:
-Experience with a travel system, assisting others to create travel orders or vouchers in a system, obtain funding for employee travel, reviewing travel orders or vouchers for reimbursement for accuracy, and/or processing travel orders.
-Experience assisting with safety and health processes and procedures, coordinating safety and health initiatives, or serving as a Safety and Health coordinator.
-Experience with assisting with researching and compiling data, information and policy, procedures, and regulations.
-Experience in modifying internet pages.
