Duties
This position is located under the Human Resources Professional Development (HRPD), Human Resources Operations Division (HROD), Special Agent/IOI Staffing Branch (SISB). in Washington, District of Columbia.
Qualifications
To qualify for 9, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07.
Additional Conditions of Employment:
GS-9 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:
Specialized Experience is defined as; at least ONE full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level in Federal service; experience involved performing or assisting with the following types of duties: providing technical assistance to employees and management in a variety of staffing and recruitment services; coding and processing a variety of personnel actions; reviewing position descriptions; assisting in administering guidance on pay and leave; employee benefits; retirement and other human resources functional areas.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.B. or J.D.) in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, and etc); or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
OR
Have a combination of specialized experience as described in A and education as described in B which when combined equal 100% of the requirements. To calculate your percentage of graduate education, first determine the total number of graduate hours that exceed 18 semester hours (or your school's definition of one year of graduate study), then divide the total number of your excess graduate semester hours by 18 (or your school's definition of one year of graduate study).
