This position is located in the Management Directorate, Office of Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Infrastructure Division. As an Information Technology Specialist (Information Security), you will work as a bridge between Project Managers and contract staff to monitor, plan and maintain Enterprise Network performance to ensure expected user experiencewhen accessing mission critical systems.

Duties

Implement, monitor, and manage enterprise operations and maintenance such as those resulting from critical incidents and outages, upgrades and new applications and systems. Develop acquire and assess new systems design methodologies to improve software and hardware availability and downtime. Integrate current Information Technology practices, tools, and security programs across all disciplines. Identify, resolve, and integrate changes to existing and new mission essential systems and applications with the existing architecture and infrastructure. Identifies need for changes based on new and existing security technologies and threats. Reviews and evaluates critical incident response policies and guidance.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Coordinating and implementing network security measures. Identifying need for changes based on new network and security technologies or threats and developing solutions. Planning, analyzing, and maintaining network and security incident response policies, programs, procedures, and tools. Developing and implementing plans for information technology network tools and appliances that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize risks associated with information technology systems vulnerabilities and security programs.
