About the Position: This position is under Supply Chain Intergration, Directorate, Order management Division, Order Fulfillment/ Distribution System, Operations Division, Demand Planning Branch located in Warren, Michigan.
Duties
Maintains fully operational system applications, systems, logic, and tools to support functional business processes in support of supply planning, demand planning, order management, inventory management, or sourcing.
Proactively validates data accuracy, analyzes system and functional capability effects, and remediates issues to resolve data quality and compatibility process blocks.
Provides technical system support in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and supporting applications to ensure the full capability of supply chain functions.
Supports ERP configuration management for supply chain personnel and processes to resolve compatibility issues and ensure ERP capabilities meet the needs of end users.
Develops and coordinates new or revised complex processes, policies, methods, and best practices within order management after thorough analyses of the effect on the various operating segments.
Analyzes operational and statistical data and reports to determine functional trends, conformance to standards, efficiency of operations, and the effect on future resources.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY)/Travel may be up to 10% of the time for the position.
- Position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics Level Two (2) certification within 24 months of being placed in the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Preparing routine analytical status reports of trends or problems as indicated by supply data; Investigating deviations with supply systems to determine and take corrective action; and Utilizing various logistics programs to provide accurate supply information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
