You will serve as a Transportation Specialist in the Transportation Product Line of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.
Duties
You will demonstrate the ability to provide equipment management, technical services, contract guidance, budget development/execution guidance, long range planning for facilities and equipment investment and related transportation operation services.
You will act in a liaison capacity for the planning and execution of various transportation functions involving joint DOD services cooperation including disaster planning.
You will show a strong ability to be adaptable to changing technology, possess highly defined planning and execution skills, and an ability to act decisively and timely when faced with sensitive situations.
You will demonstrate proficiency with office programs and databases such as Maximo, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power point Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio.
You will possess administrative and working level knowledge of the GSA short term rental program, ordering and billing processes.
You will comprehend the relationship between the Inventory Objectives, the asset, and the customer reference codes at time of procurement.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Incumbent may be required to pass academic and practical tests to become licensed on Navy cranes, forklifts, and aerial work platforms.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing equipment management, technical services, contract guidance, budget development/execution guidance, long range planning for facilities and equipment investments and related transportation operation services; 2) Acting in a liaison capacity for the planning and execution of various transportation functions involving joint DOD services cooperation including disaster planning; 3) Utilizing office programs and databases such as Maximo, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power point Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio; 4) Possessing highly defined planning and execution skills, and an ability to act decisively and timely when faced with sensitive situations and; 5) Fully comprehend the relationship between the Inventory Objectives, the asset, and the customer reference codes at time of procurement.
