Duties

You will prepare a wide variety of preliminary and final engineering and technical drawings for projects of buildings, structures, roads, grounds and utilities such as potable water, sewage, and storm drainage facilities. You will update the Base's general development, noise level, environmental, explosive arc, utilities, and base maps, indices, etc. You will serve as the coordinator for all maintenance and repair work to include, but not limited to, work relating to minor, service, routine, or recurring work. You will inspect all buildings and real property under a scheduled inspection program to determine need for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Preparing a wide variety of preliminary and final engineering and technical drawings for projects of buildings, structures, roads, grounds and utilities; coordinating facilities maintenance; and performing inspections for all buildings and real property. GS-08: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing basic design, layout, drafting, field surveying, drawing reproductions and records maintenance; and coordinating facilities maintenance and repair work. Education

GS-09: Two full years of graduate education or a master's degree meets the requirements for GS-9. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. Part-time graduate education is creditable in accordance with its relationship to a year of full-time study at the school attended.
