As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-14, you will be part of Office of Workforce Policy and Innovation, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will serve as an advisor to management and key internal and external agency stakeholders. As the program Analyst you will provide expert technical, procedural and administrative guidance on the planning, evaluation, and/or improvement of the effectiveness of Federal Executive Board (FEB) operations, programs and policies.
Duties
Evaluating existing internal processes and procedures and preparing proposed findings and recommendations for improvement to administrative systems.
Researching methods to evaluate programmatic data and to identify and analyze program or policy issues.
Preparing written materials, including annual report, program guidance, informational/decision memoranda, and pre-meeting background briefings.
Developing and providing briefings and reports to leadership and other stakeholders on program status including justifying and defending operational proposals and requests for resources.
Analyzing and interpreting new or proposed legislation, regulations, or policies in order to determine impact on Federal Executive Board (FEB)programs, operations, and/or management
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one full year of specialized experience at GS-13 level in the Federal service (or equivalent) working with operations, policies, directives, and developing guidance to implement objectives and goals for interagency organizations and/or groups.
Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level.
