You will serve as a INSTALLATION TRAINING OFFICER in the TRAINING AND READINESS DIVISION of NAS KINGSVILLE TX.

Duties

You will collaborate with other organizations to develop training in technical data management processes and techniques. You will advise personnel on training and education solutions. You will brief senior leaders on the progress of military training. You will develop and coordinate support operation plans to achieve readiness and mobilization objectives.

• This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing plans, goals and objectives for training/readiness programs to meet an installation mission requirements; 2) Coordinating installation integrated training exercises to ensure installation readiness; 3) Executing policy based training events that validate training requirements and prepare the installation for emergency/contingency operations; 4) Analyzing and evaluating training and readiness programs for effectiveness and efficiency; 5) Preparing and presenting recommendations and solutions based on analysis and evaluation of training and readiness issues. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
OR
Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience. Percentage of education plus percentage of experience must equal 100%.
