You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) Project Performance Analyst (PPA) (Code 300.2), in the Operations Department of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

You will work as a member of the Project Team providing support with data and reports. You will review, analyze and monitor an availability's cost and schedule data and verify data through communication with project managers You will develop reports and make recommendations for correction of specific performance issues. You will prepare cost and schedule reports via the Performance Measurement and Control (PMC) and Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) programs.

Requirements

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience applying production control methods and procedures to observe and analyze production operations and resources (e.g., labor, equipment/machines, materials) and determine the causes of production delays and the effectiveness of cost controls for ship or submarine repair or overhaul projects. For the GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-8 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience applying production control methods and procedures to analyze production project data and processes (e.g., schedule, cost) and prepare reports of findings for ship or submarine repair or overhaul projects. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-9:

OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
