This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization, Safety and Technical Training, Technical Training Directorate, Technical Training Planning and Analysis Group. This Group develops, maintains, and serves as stewards of technical training’s business processes, data, policy, systems, and services. It also provides the standards for technical training to create and deliver the knowledge and skill transfer necessary to meet operational requirements.

Duties

The Program Support Specialist provides experience and detailed knowledge of the administrative and program operations to assistance and support to the electronic learning management system (eLMS) program. Serves as the Electronic Learning System Support Specialist providing support to the more experience eLMS specialist and electronic learning representatives (eLREP). Applies detailed knowledge of electronic learning systems to accomplish assignments to support the Blackboard Learn automated training record system.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-9 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:Experience with automated media to generate, review, and distribute reports related to users and course completions. OR,APPLICANTS MAY ALSO QUALIFY ON THE BASIS OF EDUCATION. SEE THE EDUCATION REQUREMENTS BELOW IN THE EDUCATION SECTION. Education

TO QUALIFY ON THE BASIS OF EDUCATION, APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
