You will serve as a TRAINING & EDUCATION PROGRAM SYSTEMS SPECIALIST in the Marine Forces Reserve G-3/5 of MARFORRES NOLA.
Duties
You will serve as subject matter for all issues pertaining to formal and locally managed training and education programs in support of Marine Forces Reserve personnel.
You will oversee subordinate level organizations proper execution of formal training programs by ensuring proper alignment of education and training duty types with appropriate funding.
You will prepare and oversee multiple program operating budgets.
You will develop, present and defend force-level policies and guidance in support of formal training and education.
You will use analysis of measures of effectiveness data in support of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) efforts.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expertise in developing, reviewing, evaluating, planning, administering and implementing policies and procedures in training and education for an organization AND providing technical advice to managers and subordinate commands for an organization's training and education policies and procedures..
