Temporary positions not-to-exceed 1039 regular hours in a service year may be terminated sooner depending on management needs. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is April/May - October/November but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: April/May 2024
Duties
Performs simple and routine work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings and related utilities, requiring the use of a variety of trade practices. Responsible for the general cleaning, ground maintenance, repairs to the grounds, buildings and structures of the parks and the efficient operation, maintenance, and care taking of buildings, structures and grounds serving public and domestic use throughout the park. Position also focuses on custodial services, including cleaning sinks, toilets, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring that there are adequate supplies of soap, towels, and toilet paper for a public restrooms throughout the park, picnic areas, and/or camp grounds.
