Duties

Serves as the senior traffic management specialist performing Quality Assurance functions with responsibilities for providing assigned customers a full range of deployment and distribution services. Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the operational and administrative support functions of the Multi-functional Deployment Facility. Interacts with higher headquarters, government agencies, commercial and military ports and the commercial transportation industry to effectively carry out the traffic management mission of the branch. Supervises a staff of employees through subordinate supervisors and team leads. Represents the Installation Transportation Division at meetings and conferences concerning deployments, redeployments and container management.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a secret clearance.
  • This position requires temporary duty travel (TDY) of 10%.
  • This position requires financial disclosure OGE 450.
