You will serve as a Financial Management Specialist at the GG-07 grade level responsible for accounting, budget and other related financial management work for the Naval Intelligence Activity.
Duties
You will advise customers regarding financial guidance, policy and procedures.
You will utilize integrated federal financial management systems and sub-systems to input, analyze and extract data.
You will identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity.
You will prepare, review and reconcile financial statements and financial reports to meet reporting requirements and to support management decisions.
You will monitor costs for the purpose of comparing plans to actual expenditures, determining status of commitments and obligations and identifying and correcting discrepancies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience for GG-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Assisting in the performance of functions such as the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities;
2) Researching guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information;
3) Preparing summaries for use by senior level analysts;
4) Reviewing financial and workload data, analyzing data, and reporting findings.

completion of a bachelor's degreeor1 full year of graduate level education
or
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
Specialized Experience for GG-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Reviewing prepared funding actions with regulatory, procedural and policy requirements
2) Assisting in the performance of the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities.
3) Assisting senior specialists with related financial management and fiscal/budget support.
4) Identifying the causes of problems, and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders.
