The incumbent will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, Assistant Director for Human Capital, located in the Criminal Division, Office of Administration. The Human Capital staff is responsible for training and employee development, performance management, employee relations, international operations, workforce analysis and succession planning, awards and recognition, and reasonable accommodations.

Duties

As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Assistant Director, Human Capital), you will: Assist in the implementation of the full range of Human Capital programs and policy directives related to: training, employee development, performance management, employee recognition, workforce planning, reasonable accommodations, employee relations, and international operations. Plan, organize, and provide oversight to a team of Human Resources Specialists, administrative support personnel, and contractor staff. Aid the Director in the implementation of analytical metrics and analysis systems to asses program efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify, eliminate, or minimize work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, and implement qualify improvements. Organize, draft, and prepare official audit responses and respond to data calls. Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-13 federal grade level. Examples of specialized experience include: providing management advisory services in one or more of the HR functional areas of the position, to include training and employee development, employee relations, performance management, awards and recognition, work-life, diversity and inclusion, workforce analysis and succession planning, and reasonable accommodation; revising existing Human Resources policies and corresponding policy documents and/or establishing new policies and corresponding policy documents; and assessing and ensuring compliance with Human Capital Management regulatory requirements. Time-in-Grade: Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements for consideration by the closing date of this announcement.
