Employee will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (OA), in the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA), Veteran and Family Member Programs (VFMP) in Integrated Veterans Care (IVC), in Denver, CO. This position provides administrative support for the department.
Duties

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:
Provide general clerical public contact support such as answering the telephone, referring visitors and providing information about the office.
Maintain calendars, schedules and plan events and meetings for affairs within an organization.
Schedule conferences, staff meetings and appointments for management.
Serve as a timekeeper and maintain employee rosters.
Utilize, develop or maintain databases and reports.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the on-boarding process for new employees.
Prepare forecasts and develop budget projections based upon historical usage and expected needs.
Certify invoices relating to employee purchase orders.
Obtain and monitor the use of services, supplies or equipment for an office.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am until 4:30pm

Qualifications
TYPING PROFICIENCY: This position requires the skills of a qualified typist. In addition to meeting the experience and/or education requirements, you must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-6 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes: providing clerical public contact support such as answering the telephone, referring visitors and providing information about the office; responding verbally and/or in writing to inquiries; utilizing, developing or maintaining databases and reports; maintaining calendars, scheduling and planning events and meetings; and serving as the timekeeper.
