About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. Duties

Instructs and evaluates rated and non-rated aviators in pilot and instructor pilot proficiency in the AH-64D/E Longbow Attack Helicopter and Longbow Crew Trainer. Instructs and evaluates rated and non-rated aviators in the AH-64D/E Longbow Attack Helicopter utilizing systems, techniques, and maneuvers. Operates the multi-engine, tandem seated AH-64D/E Longbow Attack Helicopter while instructing or evaluating the copilot/gunners station. Conducts classroom instruction on all aspects of the AH-64D/E to include training maneuvers, aircraft systems, aerial gunnery, basic attack helicopter employment/tactics and other subjects as assigned. Monitors standardization requirements; recommends changes in lesson plans, program of instructions, training methods and techniques.
