This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Asset Marketing and Management Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of mission responsibilities related to Shared Loss Agreements (SLA).

Duties
-Performs the work associated with the analysis of Purchase & Assumption Agreements, Shared Loss Agreements (SLA), financial information, asset/collateral valuations, guarantor and borrower financial capacity, portfolio mix, and managerial practices of acquiring institutions to ascertain the risks inherent in the portfolio and ensure the acquirer makes business decisions to maximize collections and minimize losses to the program in accordance with the SLA documents and program guidance.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience advising on the development or enhancements of asset management systems by providing asset management principles and practices to external/internal IT stakeholders.
