You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Duties
You will frequently direct creation and execution of tasks and assignments to complete division mission.
You will work daily cross-OSD, Joint Staff, SECNAV, FMB, OPNAV, and Navy and have routine interaction to ensure work accomplishment.
You will apply knowledge of the Navy's organization, mission and objectives, command structure and the structure of the Navy and joint capability area.
You will interpret, Federal and DOD guidelines and regulations.
You will develop joint operations improvements, initiatives, and requirements that will result in more effective and efficient Navy services and programs.
You will communicate effectively and articulate Navy positions to Joint Staff, DOD staff, multinational partners, and others on major sustainment issues and/or problems both orally and in writing.
You will use computers and related technology efficiently for the purposes of this position.
You will analyze the effectiveness of programs and operations and to project future needs.
You will assess work and task requirements, work independently to consolidate and structure information, present data and supporting analyses, and present outcomes and courses of action.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Supervisory Program Analyst work, such as providind comprehensive human resources management advisory and technical services on the substantive functions of Reserve program and work practices. Examples of specialized experience are as follows:
1) Applying knowledge of a wide-range of concepts, principles, and practices relating to military personnel management, financial management, and management information systems.
2) Analyzing and investigating staffing requirements and utilization regarding Command Reserve Total Force Assessment.
3) Utilizing a wide-range of human resources concepts, practices, laws, regulations, policies.
