About the Position: Serve as a Management and Program Analyst for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASA-M&RA). The position is located at the Pentagon, in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Assist management with implementing and evaluating with matters pertaining to military recruiting, retention programs, and related efforts. Develop policy and plans for active component and reserve components officer and enlisted accessions. Prepare and present briefings on accessions/accessions system requirements and functional recruiting. Formulate short to long-range accessions policies to support accessions of all services.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). GS-13 Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: utilize knowledge of officer and enlisted accessions, recruitment, and retention programs to advance military recruiting efforts; apply quantitative/qualitative methods to assess the effectiveness of the accessions program; present briefings on accessions/accessions system requirements; and draft new or revised accession policies and/or procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Planning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement for GS-12: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement for GS-13: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
