About the Position:
Serve as a Management and Program Analyst for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASA-M&RA). The position is located at the Pentagon, in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Assist management with implementing and evaluating with matters pertaining to military recruiting, retention programs, and related efforts.
Develop policy and plans for active component and reserve components officer and enlisted accessions.
Prepare and present briefings on accessions/accessions system requirements and functional recruiting.
Formulate short to long-range accessions policies to support accessions of all services.

GS-12 Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: assist senior analysts in the development of accession policies; contribute ideas that further enhance the accessions program; and compose reports for management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
GS-13 Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: utilize knowledge of officer and enlisted accessions, recruitment, and retention programs to advance military recruiting efforts; apply quantitative/qualitative methods to assess the effectiveness of the accessions program; present briefings on accessions/accessions system requirements; and draft new or revised accession policies and/or procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
