This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, U.S. Capitol Building, Assistant Superintendent Client Services Division, Service Center Branch. The incumbent examines offices, foyers, and public spaces to detect and rectify custodial or facility maintenance and repair issues for Members, Committees, and their staffs.
Duties
Performs building inspections for widespread facility support efforts to meet Member needs. Acts as liaison on behalf of the Superintendent to follow up on issues building occupants may encounter in their assigned locations. Surveys Administrative Assistants, Office Managers, or other essential office employees quarterly to gain feedback on the quality and timeliness of services and areas for improvement.

To qualify at the GS-09 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-08 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include:
Receiving and taking immediate action to resolve complaints.
Supporting the daily operations of buildingsConducting inspections for cleanliness and maintenance Experience using systems to maintain data and records.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
