Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Director Operations and Management, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Program Support Center to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Providing authoritative advice and guidance to the PSC and Portfolio Directors on technical and policy matters impacting the administration of programs and activities of PSC.
Oversees and is responsible for the formulation and monitoring of the operating budget; monitors budget activities; coordinates the efforts of staff to ensure organizational budget requirements are met; manages the successful internal execution of the budget, including the monitoring of approved expenditures facilities management and support, technology resources and legal requirements.
Oversees the need for and utilization of support activities, such as timekeeping, pay issues/resolution, travel, space, facilities management, telecommunications, printing and reproduction, and records management.
Oversees the PSC hiring process to ensure conformance to requirements established by HHS Human Resources guidelines and the Office of Personnel Management.
Serves as the Internal Control Liaison with authority to issue directives, monitor and evaluate performance, and advice on the status of internal controls throughout.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing at least 3 of the 5 following:
1. Assigning, directing, overseeing, and coordinating the work of subordinates.
2. Planning and setting long-range plans and schedules for the overall work of a Division and ensuring implementation of the goals and objectives of a Division.
3. Serving as the subject matter expert for administrative matters that impact administrative operations.
4. Developing administrative policy issuances, interpreting ambiguous policies and regulations, and participates in policy setting that impacts a division or organization.
5. Applying budget and fiscal methods used in establishing and maintaining an organization.
