About the Position: This is a permanent Supply Technician position located in the Directorate of Ammunition Operations at Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, Utah.
Duties
Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns.
Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transition errors and failures, and research different databases and publication to extract data.
Prepare reports of findings and develops modified procedures to take corrective action.
Compile statistical, status, and other supply information and develops lists of supply sources for items.
Input screening requests to obtain logistics data on existing national stock numbers and consolidates input from different sources for batch input.
Prepare charts for briefings on performance and capabilities of different supply organizations and sources and prepares recurring status reports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Incumbent must be cleared IAW requirements of AR 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AAandE).
- This position is subject to random drug testing IAW AR 600-85 Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP).
- This position is subject to the Lautenberg Amendment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Applying standardized supply regulations, policies and/or procedures to provide supply support to production, shipping, or receiving operations; 2) Performing research to resolve supply discrepancies; 3) Using automated supply systems to enter, correct, and/or retrieve recurring reports and preparing other supply documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
