This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as project manager responsible for overall planning, execution, control, and closure of military and International and Interagency (IIS) projects.

Duties

Manage and lead the initiating, planning, scoping, design, construction, and direction of civil works/military construction projects and/or environmental restoration projects. Monitor and maintain project's milestone dates and budget throughout its life cycle. Manage programs/projects associated with resources, financial and fiscal responsibility, budgeting, risk assessment, schedule, configuration management, contract technical management for construction projects and project controls. Prepare cost estimates prior to full scope determination and development of design concept, to determine potential factors that may impact cost. Communicate with clients and customers to satisfy their expectations and commitment to continuous improvement of quality services.

• This is an Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT and L) workforce position. Incumbent must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position within 24 months upon entry date.
