Duties
Serves as Chief of a branch within the Support Operations Division at DLA Distribution Oklahoma.
Supervises an organization consisting of Distribution Facilities Specialists, Storage Specialists, System Analysts, Support Services Specialists and Management Analysts involved in providing support to a distribution depot.
Responsible for internal coordination, formulation and/or tracking of the budgeting, accounting, cost collection, cost analysis and financial management reporting.
Responsible for monitoring the Operating Target, coordinating, and controlling funding of reimbursable work performed by mission elements.
Manages productivity storage and planning programs. Provides administrative support to include work orders, briefings, EBS ordering, and depot facility, modernization, and mechanization projects.
Oversees locally assigned contracts and Contracting Officer Representative(s) (COR).
Provides functional support for computer-based programs, i.e. DSS, MIS, QMF, etc.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Distribution Facilities Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Administering internal distribution elements, developing statistics, charts, and administrative management, information, preparing and coordinating re-warehousing plans to maximize use of facilities, resources, and internal stock positioning, and providing analytical assistance on packing, packaging, palletization, marking, boxing, and preservation.
Reviewing and recommending system changes, coordinating system access requirements, and ensuring accountable records of real property and equipment are maintained.
Planning work to be accomplished, setting, and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
