You will serve as a POLICY ANALYST in the Occupational Field Support (OFS) Branch, Communication Directorate (CD) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will serve as an advisor and consultant to the OFS Branch Head, Communication Directorate (CD) Branch Heads, Director of Communication (DIRCOMM) on plans and strategy regarding Community Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT) policy and doctrine.
You will oversee the research, planning, development and revisions of all COMMSTRAT-related policy, doctrine, concepts, and manuals.
You will serve as the USMS COMMSTRAT representative and advocate positions in working groups, operational planning teams, conferences, and throughout the staffing process.
You will develop, plan, coordinate and implement communication strategies and develop strategic plans and processes to execute CD's mission.
You will provide analysis of COMMSTRAT practices through the development of situation reports, information/decision papers or other documents/media and provide problem-solving methods and advice on techniques, practices and procedures.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and developing policy, strategic plans and processes to support enterprise-wide policy implementation.
