The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located in Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Smithsonian Facilities (SF), Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR).  The Office of Facilities Management and Reliability provides the full range of building services through maintenance and operational zones. 

Duties

The General Maintenance & Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising subordinates in various trades (electricians, general maintenance workers, masons, painters, pipefitters, machinists, welders, etc.) depending on the Craft Shop.

• Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered with Selective Service.
