You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS AND INFRASTRUCTURE READINESS DEPARTMENT of SURFACE COMBAT SYSTEMS TRAINING COMMAND, DAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will monitor contractor personnel performance of preventive and corrective equipment / facilities maintenance actions through review of maintenance scheduling, safety, and maintenance accomplishment documentation.
You will oversee project planning, develop and review construction project scopes to completion of installation.
You will develop cost analysis, statements of work, and technical evaluations.
You will plan and assign work, train, counsel, discipline, and provide special recognition of employees.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Coordinating personnel working with facilities preventative and corrective maintenance, logistics management, and equipment readiness to determine service deficiencies, appropriate resolutions, develop maintenance concepts and establish initial repair and replacement factors; 2.) Managing and providing oversight of command equipment management, facilities, logistics and supply chain management to include negotiating with external organizations to meet mission requirements; 3.) Planning the annual OPTAR budget formulation based on prior year expenses and forecasting new requirements.
