This position is located in the Oklahoma Field Office, in the Division of Support Services.

Duties

Assist with the development and formulation of an office budget for multiple accounts. Ensure appropriate vehicle records are maintained and monthly reporting requirements are met. Process various transactions such as obligations, collections, distributions, reconciliations etc. in an automated financial system. Monitor the overall status of a fleet to include vehicle repairs, inspections, and maintenance as needed. Oversee the receipt, distribution, and disposition of system-controlled personal property. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.

Requirements

  • May be required to complete background investigation and drug screening.
  • Meet Selective Service Registration Act requirement for males

  • You cannot hold an active real estate license, nor can you have an interest or hold stocks in firms with interest in Federal Lands.
  • If you are a new employee or supervisor in the Federal government, you will be required to complete a one-year probationary period.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying: Specialized Experience GS-06: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing at least 3 of the following: (1) assisting with the development and formulation of an office budget for multiple accounts; (2) ensuring appropriate vehicle records are maintained and monthly reporting requirements are met; (3) assisting property management officials with ensuring accuracy of ownership and custody of all personal property; (4) assisting employees with the submission of purchase requests. Specialized Experience GS-07: Applicants must have one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing at least 3 of the following: (1) processing various transactions such as obligations, collections, distributions, reconciliations etc. in an automated financial system; (2) monitoring the overall status of a fleet to include vehicle repairs, inspections, and maintenance as needed; (3) overseeing the receipt, distribution, and disposition of system-controlled personal property; (4) serving as a collections officer. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as "varies".
