This may include activities associated with proper storage, handling and disposal and/or recycling of chemicals and wastes associated with their trades.

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to: Develop designs and layout, cut, font, joint assemble and install all types of insulating materials on equipment and systems. Use a variety of diagrams, sketches and drawings and other specifications to construct the insulating forms into desired shapes allowing for seams, joints, thickness and shrinkage. Assist senior members of the shop in their performance of their duties in the correction of deficiencies. Perform work from oral or written instructions. Measure and identify precise dimensions of irregular shaped items. Read and interpret sketches and blueprints, specifications and project plans.
