This position is in MARAD’s Office of Ports & Waterways. The Deepwater Licensing Program is a mission-critical program that administers the statutory and regulatory authorities of the Secretary of Transportation and serves as the Federal agency authorized to issue licenses for the development of offshore energy ports for the import and export of oil and liquefied natural gas.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience with granting offshore deep-water port licenses in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Experience implementing, developing, evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting program policies to resolve problems of national and international significance and impact to the Deepwater Port Licensing & Port Conveyance Programs.
Experience with analyses of administrative aspects of the programs to ensure effective and efficient operations of the Deepwater Port Licensing & Port Conveyance Programs.
