You will serve as a Security Specialist (COMSEC) in the Activity Chief Information Office of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Duties
You will serve as alternate Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Operations Account Manager.
You will ensure that all SUPSHIP Bath Communications Security Material (COMSEC) holdings are properly administered in accordance with current regulations and instructions.
You will provide general information, revisions of policies or procedures and subsequent impacts on SUPSHIP Bath to on site program managers.
You will coordinate local training for COMSEC users.
You will issue COMSEC material to authorized ship's users when required to ensure personnel receive written instructions regarding storage, handling, local destruction, and accounting procedures.
You will load COMSEC as required to support ships testing schedule.
You will ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper disposition of records, reports and evaluations concerning COMSEC material.
You will acquire, monitor, and maintain site's required authorized holdings for COMSEC material.
You will maintain proper storage, physical security and inventory of COMSEC material for the site.
You will act as the command representative for the receipt, delivery of Defense Courier Service material.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of KMI Operating Account Manager (KOAM) Course of Instruction (COI) is required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-01 (GS-04 Equivalent), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the ability to: analyze problems to identify significant factors; gather pertinent data and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
