Duties

Serves as the primary DLA Troop Support Liaison with DLA Aviation and DLA Land and Maritime on Nuclear Enterprise (NE) Program Management. Assists in identifying all required logistics and acquisition activities required to support NE weapon system's logistics life cycle. Works jointly with assigned customer sites to develop material and logistics support plans related to Weapons Systems, specifically Nuclear Enterprise Weapons Systems. Updates Troop Support Supply chains on Navy and Air Force Customer Focused Metrics (CFM) related to Nuclear Enterprise Weapons Systems. Achieves established Material Availability (MA) goals needed for the Air Force and Navy Nuclear Enterprise Weapons Systems supported by DLA Aviation and DLA Land and Maritime.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Weapons System Program Manager (NE) your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) or competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Uses a wide range of logistics and acquisition in support of DoD weapon system platforms, specifically Nuclear Enterprise Weapons Systems used by the Air Force and Navy. Exhibits leadership skills in the Program Management of Weapons Systems, such Nuclear Enterprise Weapons Systems Provides in-depth briefings to senior DoD leadership on supply chain investment of supported Weapons Systems, including Nuclear Enterprise Weapons Systems. Tracks and reports on mission capability and material availability in support of Weapons Systems. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
