You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (O/A) in the CONSOLIDATED MATERIAL SERVICE CENTER of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will maintain supply system records in an organized and easily accessible manner in accordance with published supply policy and retention periods, and Standards Operating Procedures (SOP).
You will update and enter data into varying supply and e-commerce systems, and local automated data systems.
You will perform analysis of programs and problems associated with Automated Information Systems (AIS) supporting garrison retail supply operations.
You will conduct extensive technical research of catalog information to locate more cost effective, available substitutes and new products, and complete supply acquisitions through a commercial source.
You will conduct physical inventories of a broad range of diverse and specialized supply items, some of which are difficult to identify and/or differentiate from others.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
- A pre-employment physical is required.
- Required to possess and maintain a valid Class C Driver's License.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining documents and reports, inventories and expending items, and executing procurement actions for supplies, equipment, and materials.
