You will serve as a SAFETY/OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SPC in the SAFETY, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.

Duties

You will conduct safety and occupational health surveys and inspections and enter into safety database. You will interpret safety guidance and provide safety planning within the Command. You will evaluate operational programs and activities to determine and implement safety control measures. You will monitor units' compliance with Command safety programs. You will provide analytical and managerial assistance and support concerning storage operations. You will conduct studies and surveys involving aspects of storage programs to maximize available storage space. You will maintain inventory control records in automated systems.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1-Conducting safety and occupational health surveys and inspections and enter into safety database; 2- Interpreting safety guidance and providing safety planning within the Command; 3- Evaluating operational programs & activities to determine and implement safety control measures; 4- Monitoring units compliance with Command safety programs. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
