Duties
Develop and distribute partnership guides and other materials to enhance partnership capacity.
Network and consult with other organizational members through meetings and other communication and collaboration tools in support of partnership programs.
Identify programmatic issues or conflicts and coordinate with the staff to negotiate and/or resolve problems.
Provide advice, counsel, or instruction on administrative and work matters to ensure compliance with safety and partnership regulations.
Create, modify, review, and coordinate partnership agreements to ensure they are aligned with organizational priorities, policies, and regulations.
Develop strategic networks to leverage and amplify partnerships.
Anticipate and identify programmatic issues or conflicts and coordinate with the appropriate staff to negotiate and/or resolve problems.
Ensure partnership effectiveness through the development of new strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.

- Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience Requirement:
For the GS-12: You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as a majority of the following: Performed work related to building coalitions for partnerships that included communicating with stakeholders such as small businesses, governmental organizations, non-profits, tribal governments, media, academic institutions, the general public, local community groups, and/or other organizations; worked with non-profit organizations or state government demonstrating a general understanding of how external partners are funded and how they operate in partnerships; and/or planned, developed, directed, and implemented partnership programs that included serving as a technical advisor to resolve partnership issues, provide guidance and training to managers and staff, and participate in or lead funding activities in support of partnership programs..
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT: If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
