Duties
You will serve as the Aviation Maritime Program Requirements Officer Analyst for the OPNAV N98 Maritime Programs Branch.
You will be the conduit and liaison for all Maritime programs and requisite organizations in developing commands, and OPNAV/SECNAV organizations.
You will prepare and justify Navy positions on resource allocations within an assigned group of tasks affecting all phases of the Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Executive (PPBE) development for existing and future Maritime Aviation programs.
You will perform as a recognized authority in the analysis and evaluation of Naval Aviation requirements for Maritime Aviation programs and related weapons systems.
You will provide key expertise in the PPBE development for N98, ensuring that the Maritime program funding strategy is fully understood.
You will coordinate with internal and external experts, decision-makers and program managers.
You will prepare both narrative and data-driven justifications and presentations to support acquisition budget estimates and execution analysis.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessing and improving processes and systems. Examples of specialized experience include most or all of the following: 1) Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating various plans, studies, trends, reports, legislation, capabilities, planning and policy directives, or operational gaps to assess and determine the impact requirements have on an organization's mission; 2) Providing recommendations, alternatives, and/or tradeoffs while working through budget development phase; 3) Acting as a liaison and maintaining contact with personnel to identify emergent issues; 4) Preparing narrative and data-driven justifications and presentations to support acquisition budget estimates and execution analysis.
