Serves as an Administrative Officer in the Lincoln Flight Standards District Office performing multiple and varying assignments under the limited supervision of the manager. Works on one's own or may serve as a team leader on various projects. May work as a team member on various projects. Responsible for providing and obtaining a variety of management services essential to the direction and operation of the organization.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.FV-F: To qualify for this position at the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9), you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least three years of progressively responsible general experience that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, recognize solutions, plan and organize work and convey information, with at least one year equivalent to the FG/GS-4 level. Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as the work experience provides evidence of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position. Experience of a general clerical nature (typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records or other non-specialized tasks) is NOT creditable.FV-G: To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5/7/9). Specialized experience is defined as experience organizing office administrative functions in support of daily operations and purchasing supplies and equipment adhering to regulatory and procedural requirements; experience using computer software applications to prepare spreadsheets, correspondence, presentations, graphs, etc.; and support management in tracking and managing various administrative and operations programs and projects.FV-H: To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G (FG/GS 10/11). Specialized experience is defined as experience in applying management principles, methods and techniques to solve problems of the organization; experience with the general management of an organization; experience developing and securing fiscal and business resources and services needed to manage and run an organization.Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as the work experience provides evidence of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
Education
Substitution of education or equivalent combinations of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Education substitution for FV-F: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree
Education substitution for FV-G: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
There is no education substitution for the FV-H.
Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited US educational institution in terms of equivalency to a degree acquired at an American college or university. A copy of the evaluation results must be included, otherwise your foreign education will not be considered.
