Duties

You will develop, manage, and oversee project plans (such as communications plan, scope management plan, time management risk plan, budget plan and procurement plan). You will coordinate with senior agency leaders and civilian technical personnel within DoD to ensure architecture is compliant with regulatory policies, communication, software standards and with user requirements. You will develop and employ tools and methods to track progress throughout the life cycle of the project that applies technical knowledge to ensure project schedules and objectives are accomplished in accordance with the established milestones. You will use managerial techniques and quantitative analysis, to monitor project objects. You will manage and coordinate with stakeholders to confirm and facilitate appropriate interests by eliciting customer support in the development of plans, functional requirements are included in analyses, and incorporate stakeholder feedback. You will provide technical guidance over assigned critical information systems projects. You will develop detailed plans, tasks, schedules, and identifies milestone dates to ensure proper sequencing of events, work efforts, and resources to accomplish objectives. You will identify resource requirements and manpower to implement projects.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 632 level (i) intermediate within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develops detailed project plans, tasks, and schedules to accomplish objectives; coordinates with senior technical personnel to ensure architecture is compliant with regulatory policies, software standards, and user requirements; applies technical knowledge to ensure project schedules and objectives are accomplished with established milestones; responsible for cost estimating; recommends business process changes in response to evolving circumstances, resources, or objectives and confirms deadlines and priorities are met; provides feedback on project statuses to senior leaders/management.
