About the position: This position will be assigned to the 97 Force Support Squadron Bowling Alley. Pay will be set based on experience. Duties

Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of bowling center and activities. Implements higher-level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of food and beverages, recreational and promotional programs. Establishes, reviews, and evaluates food service, purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise Establishes financial goals commensurate with market analysis of area or region. Prepares budget, analyzes financial results, and maintains solid financial condition of the center. Responsible for work force management, recruitment, and staff training. Manages real property resources and provides advice on renovations, improvements, and constructions. Promotes, organizes, and schedules open and league bowling and special events. Conducts or ensures the conducting of bowling classes. Ensures that maintenance and preventive maintenance are performed on all bowling-related equipment. Ensures appropriate bowling equipment and supplies are on hand. Oversees the operation of a pro shop and/or snack bar. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that shows responsible administrative, professional, technical, or other work which has provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices, or progressively responsible experience in on or more of the functions managed by a bowling center manager. Specialized Experience: In addition to the general experience, applicant must have specialized experienced gained in the operation or management of a civilian or military bowling center or food operation. Must be able to complete and maintain a satisfactory National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
